Also Neatly Stacked

These Willits Telephone Directories may be waiting for a finishing slice on the printer's cutter. The "big" commercial phone books usually include both Mendocino and Lake counties together, as a practical matter in such thinly populated areas. But when you just want to know what's available within a ten minute drive, a local collection of business ads and numbers comes in very handy.

les annuaires en France sont divises par département et en deux parties, les pages blanches pour les particuliers, et les pages jaunes pour les entreprises. Mais depuis Internet, ils sont de moins en moins proposés

directories in France are divided by department and in two parts, blank pages for individuals, and the yellow pages for businesses. But from the Internet, they are less and less available

We have a book like directory that makes a big attempt to resemble the large, thick, books.

Cute.
There's a local directory for the Ukiah Valley too, but it's a bit more than this little pamphlet you use in Willits.

I like having a smaller local directory, as well as the bigger city one. Neat photo!

Eh-hew, Amy! Spoken like the big-city sophisticate that you are. If you're showing off your mighty population base, I suppose the Ukiah Daily Photo will soon follow. Bring it!

Today is the day you collect the keys to the villa, is it not? Unpack the computers first... 8^)

I am a prisoner to AT&T, fat phone book + tiny print = frustrated knoxville girl. But I like this stack you show today.

I'm like you crittoria - I like having both. Sorry KG - the local Soroptomists do this directory, so maybe you can plant an idea with someone...

Those directories are pretty thin! I've always found it crazy that you have to pay to not be listed in the phone book. The printers should be paying the non-listers! It saves paper and ink!!

I know how it feels, halcyon. I'm unlisted, so that means the phone company can't sell my number on a long list of numbers to the folks that want to sell me something by calling. So the fewer names and numbers they sell, the less money they make. I'm willing to pay that price.
