This seems to have been an office room on the side of a commercial garage. The curtain is a faded print of an old patchwork quilt design.

WINDOW WITHIN A WINDOW!
The hole in the curtain looks a bit like the map of India!
It brings back lots of memories to some. Makes all kind of questions possible. I like the idea of a window with a view for someone.
Neat post, the window almost looks like it doesnt belong on that wall.
My guess is that Super Cat had to go outside really badly.
magiceye - I see what you mean! The shape of India brings to my mind either a tornado, or a woman wrapped in Hindu clothes.
Abraham - it probably was very homey when that curtain was new.
Jim - to me, the window looks like it's floating, because the stain on the wood beneath it looks like a shadow.
Kym - you fresh imagination has something (cat!?!) blasting out, while I only thought of a rock thrown in!

This window looks like it's floating in from another dimension, like it's there, but it's not supposed to be visible to us. Or, I've been reading too much sci-fi again. :p

An old quilt design? Aw shucks, and here I thought it was Israeli flags stitched together. :)
Well, I specifically wanted to make clear that this isn't some vandalized shul! If you look closely, you'll see the fine white lines converging in the centers of the star shapes.
And yes, I know you knew better. ;^)
