Back at the Diner

Great news to report: the Ardella's crew is back in action after their long winter vacation! I couldn't even wait for my food to arrive - I had to take a celebratory picture. It's the beautifully reflective black granite counter top that has me whipping out my camera every time.

Wow, that really looks clean and shiny! I bet you could eat off the counter...

I love authentic diners and eat there when I am in the US. This photo is so representative.

I'm craving eggs sunnyside up with sausage and whole wheat toasts.

Yeap, this is what I think I'll have for breakfast this morning.

The reflection is really cool. So is the assortment of condiments. Honey AND tabasco. Not sure if those are good in combination...

I am going to eat there next time I go through. You make it sound so tasty (and besides I want to try taking a photo with the counter top.)

It is on my list to someday get a reflection shot off that counter that you have made known around the world.
Let's see, today I'll try the eggs benedict....with smoked salmon, please. :)

Cindi - This is a good one too.

Saretta - People have.

Bibi - I like their bacon, and I'm not usually a bacon person. It's stout.

Ming - You inspired me to go over there for breakfast on a work day!

Halcyon - I don't use either one, but they are there if you need them.

Kym - I hope you will. Mention this blog, and you should get a smile (but no guarantees).

V - I think their feelings must be mixed about the return, but mine aren't.

Wayne - They've got it! They've got it! Keep your pants on!

Raf - You can get that on Saturdays before 12 and Sundays before 2. Their sauce is made from scratch especially for the weekends. For that, they deserve the fame!

P - It ain't glamorous, just good. You'll love it.

Benjamin - The blueberry pancakes are spectacular!

Thanks everyone, for piling on with me at my favorite hang-out. We are actually blessed with many good places for lunch, but you can't beat three walls of windows for photographic light, and the owners feel like family to me now.
