He is a magnificent looking lion - I'm intimidated from this distance!

He guards the sign well. Good choice.

Hi Elaine,

The bees are back in Brookville, Ohio. I hope for the rest of the year at least. I even got one on my Better Blog Writing post today. LOL

I see you found an adorable No sign.

Isn't it almost funny to think of adult people scurrying around their communities taking pictures of signs. And if somebody had asked what that is all about and you said a sign with "no" on it, they might... well. It is kind of funny.

I dont like those signs painted on the road. I never pay attention to that.

I like the way the lion is stealthily watching to make sure no one breaks the rules!

I like how effectively you have that vertical/horizontal thing going on. I noticed how the corner of the asphalt touches up with the big cat's nose. He's snorting the parking lot. No parking, no snorting!

I had my imagination run wild. haha.. I pictured the white lion come alive and gave a loud wild roar when people irritate it by parking beside it. ;-)

oops, too much cartoons...

Oh he looks like a pussycat to me . . . but I wouldn't park there just on principal ;) Nice capture.

Nicely composed. Just think if that was a real lion guarding the no parking zone.

Thank you all for your visits and kind words. There are two of these lions, and they guard the front door to the hospital, so you better be very, very careful if you try to go in there.

Have you all voted on the next theme day? My favorite idea is "hands", but whatever the voters decide will be what it is.

Nice composition of showing something interesting and getting the theme in too.

I like that your photo is so different from everyone's because the focal point is the lion statue, not the writing on the street. Very cool and original interpretation of this month's theme.

Great lion. I so love the originality of this photograph and the way you've shown the No sign.
