Happy Father's Day

Today is Father's Day in the U.S., and I imagine quite of few of them will be enjoying some golfing. There's a nine hole course up in the mountains, but down here in Little Lake Valley, we have this driving range. Just go to O'Leary's Feed & Seed for a bucket of balls, bring along your own clubs, and have at it. That deer doesn't seem afraid of you...

Happy Father's Day to the fathers in your family and to you a blessed day.

I hear cardinals, Carolina wrens, grackle babies wanting fed, and other nature sounds and the sky in the east is getting brighter and the air is cool and the doors are open and so are the windows. I am blessed on this Father's Day morning.

I like your photo but could never throw a ball that far and hitting one would be a neat trick.

I like that bench sitting in the tall grass. Maybe the deer is looking for lost golf balls.
