WiFi at the Pub

I've never been one for much hanging out at bars and pubs, but the night after the election I ventured over to Shanachie's. I was able to get the last serving of sparkling wine, since they had depleted their supply in the celebrations the night before, and could chat with some friendly people. The WiFi connection is available until 8pm, so this pair enjoyed a pitcher of beer along with their web surfing on the quieter side of the room.

You've captured the atmosphere of the place. And the glow from the pc is great!

Kind of eerie.
Note my idea of a date, sitting in a corner surfing the Web together. But then, I'm not up to date....

Love the way you bring us the unusual usual from your world.

Taking photos in dark settings.

Cool! no?

Well done!

Somehow I would never connect "pub" and "wifi" ... not the typical atmosphere nor conducive to concentration IMHO.

Rob - Thanks! I nearly passed by this picture, but that spot of light kept bringing me back to it.

Dina - I have no idea what they were looking at. It could be they were traveling together and just catching up on email or something.

Virginia - It was time for some sparkling wine, indeed!

Ron - I could never get up as early as you do, so I'm stuck with the evenings this time of year. 6^)

Chuck - Live music doesn't start until 8, when the WiFi stops, and everybody who was there the night before was probably still hung over and at home. It was pretty quiet.

P - Very similar to your coffee house shot of yesterday, no?

Thanks everyone, for visiting this shot of "after glow". 8^)

No, I think this photo is superior in composition and lighting. My shot sufficed, but it was general. This one's very specific. I prefer it.
