Antique Wheel

It was a gray day Sunday, but this brightly and minutely decorated wheel cheered up all who saw it. It was a 200+ photo day, an emotional day, and I'm beat, so more tomorrow.

Fantastic! Not just the wheel — the entire antique steamer!

Neat! I love the red wheel. Hope you get rested up. I spent the weekend in bed with a fever. Luckily my husband was sick too so I had him for company!

I hate getting back to work though after being off. So many emails...

Nice photo, but the problem that I have is that I want to see the whole thing! More photos. I've always been fascinated with machinery. And as a firefighter I'm even more fascinated by the fact that you have taken a photo of something beautiful to me, a fire pump, and only shown me the hind wheel!

It’s like a photo of a beautiful woman that only shows the cleavage… Teaser.

Wow, that is one mean steam machine, Elaine! I'll be back for the rest of the story (and machine).

Hilda - You'll see more of it soon.

Halcyon - Sorry to hear you've been feeling poorly! I'm resting as much as I can.

Ernie - You crack me up! You will get more photos, coming right up. The next day too.

Sara - Thanks for visiting! I love the colors of the wheel too. I wish I had gotten closer to it, to show even more of the detailed decoration.

V - Uh, more than 300, but thanks!

Kris - Perhaps the eye deceives, but it is about 5 feet high. The horses were even bigger!

Raf - It was a sight to behold. I just wish the light conditions, and my camera ability, had been better.

Thanks all!
