Pink Puppy

Sometimes, when times are tough and you don't know what to do or where to turn, you just have to hope someone will give you a coat and keep an eye out on things.

  3. Ohhh, he's adorable!!!

Your text reminds me of that conversation between Lucy and Charlie Brown about how when you become an adult, you can never sleep in the back seat of a car anymore. Always makes me cry.

    'Hold my hand, Chuck.'

  6. Wow. Look at that little guy. Hope he and his owner are safe, warm, and have full bellies tonight.

  7. Laurie and BM - LOL!

Dina - Yes, and thank you.

Hilda - Let's hope our little Snoopy here will always find comfortable rest, even when he's not so completely vulnerable.

Sara - Thank you! Don't worry, you must study.

    Jackie - Me too.

D.C. - I hope so too. While the owner clearly needs to do laundry, his boots look fairly new and strong. I would guess he has the resources to care for the little guy. The person beyond him, with the backpack, was probably passing through town for the marijuana harvest season.

Thanks everyone, for passing through Willits as well.

  9. I came back to correct myself. The conversation was with Peppermint Patty. She's the only who calls Charlie Brown 'Chuck.'

  11. Jules - That is so true. Little Jessie is lucky to have you as a protector.

Hilda - You demonstrate true devotion to the liturature! 8^) The creator of Peanuts lived in the county just to the south of Mendocino. There is even a Charles Schulz museum down there in Santa Rosa, in Sonoma county.

Virginia - I confess, I left him in peace. But I would have, if offered.

P - I had just been petting another puppy traveling with a girl when I saw this scene. Cute overload!

  12. Yes, I had noticed his good boots too and wondered.
Here in Jerusalem I've noticed that a bazaar merchant or a clothes shop owner will often glance at my boots before he decides what price to offer me for an item.
